For over 40 years the workshop of Paolo Penko in central Florence has been using ancient Florentine techniques of goldsmithing. Paolo invites everyone on a guided tour of his workshop, where visitors can see various jewellery pieces made entirely by hand, from design to engraving and choosing precious stones. Paolo wants his visitors to uncover ancient techniques and live through the different phases of creating a Renaissance-type jewel. Included in the price is a Florentine florin in gilded bronze, which will be given to each participant at the end of the visit.
