Experience the art of Venetian glass lampworking

Huang Xiaozhe offers an intimate introduction to the art of glass lampworking in her atelier in Venice, a short walk from Piazza San Marco, at the heart of Venice. The workshop offers the opportunity to experience the transformation of molten glass through flame in a contemporary jewellery practice. It is suitable for complete beginners as well as those wishing to develop their skills. Each session is limited to the maximum of two participants, allowing for personalised guidance throughout the experience. As they learn how glass softens, moves and responds to heat, participants create their own rings, pendants, earrings or other unique pieces to take home.
