Wood finishes are essential to really appeal to buyers when selling a piece of furniture, giving a polished appearance but also protecting a piece of furniture. In this six-day course, students will study both theory and practical techniques related to stains, varnishes, waxes, oils and paints. Jean Baptiste will cover how to prepare and apply these different finishes correctly, and award special attention to learning about patinas, stripping and ageing of wood.
