Chair seats are made with different materials and different patterns and throughout this five day course, held in his workshop near San Sebastian, Daniel will teach how to handle reed core, Danish cord and seagrass. Materials will then be woven in checkerboard, right angle and under-over patterns. Participants will be encouraged to learn through practice, the goal is to complete three different stools. All different steps will be followed carefully from gluing wood, to soaking reed and learning the weaving steps for the different patterns.
