Ceramics experience near Stuttgart

with Kenji Fuchiwaki

Discover ceramics with a master

Master ceramicist Kenji Fuchiwaki will give you a short guided tour through the extraordinary ceramics collection of Museum Ludwigsburg. Discover 500 years of ceramics history before taking a seat at the potter’s wheel yourself. You will have the unique chance to experience and try out different shapes under Kenji's guidance. The works you create will be finished and glazed according to your wishes and then fired. This experience is suitable for adults and children aged eight and older. The date and time should be arranged in advance. The course cost includes materials, but firing costs and the museum entrance fee are extra. Depending on the size and complexity of the piece, firing costs from 8 euros per piece. Participants should pick up their pieces themselves later, when they are finished. Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by at least one adult person, preferably a parent, who may be present free of charge. The duration of the experience depends on the number of participants.
