Drawing on her studies of dimensional movement, Georgia Gremouti offers a workshop focusing on the relationship between flat surfaces and the human body. In Body adornment: Jewellery 2D to 3D, she invites participants to work on folding techniques with materials such as metal, leather or plastic. As with each of her courses, Georgia introduces her lesson with a historical perspective, outlining the meaning of those materials through history. Participants are then invited to experiment and put their new skills into practice. By exploring the material of their choice, the aim for each student is to make an object that reflects on the connection to the body.
