Paris Andrew is a young British luthier living and working in Florence. Inspired by the architecture and colours of the city of Florence, and the rich countryside that surrounds her atelier, she makes, repairs and restores bowed stringed instruments following the local tradition. Paris also works with and represents the Italian lutherie collective Liuteria Toscana srl. Through her, customers can buy and rent violins, violas, cellos, doubles basses, baroque and early instruments and guitars. This one-hour visit to her workshop is a chance to explore and learn the inner workings of an authentic Florentine instrument-making bottega.
