The engraving method used in this masterclass is an old Murano glass technique. For this reason, you can be certain that you will learn some centuries-old secrets as Murano historically was the most important place in the 15th century, where the Venetian mirror originated. The techniques used by Murano artisans were highly classified and didn’t leave the island nor the workshops or the artisan families. But now this ancient knowledge has escaped the Murano island, travelled the world, and can be learnt in Riga too.
