Experience working creatively with fire and glass. The unique combination of a professional glassmaking studio and close proximity to the north Antrim coast make these workshops a great choice for both short and longer experiences. Students will learn the skills required to shape and manipulate glass in the flame. Using bench and hand torches, students will discover how to make intricate structures and blown forms, and sculpt with hot glass. This is an opportunity to explore this ancient craft with direct reference to the natural world. Classes can be tailored for complete beginners, or those wanting to advance their glassmaking skills.
