In this ceramic masterclass by Heon Suk Hong participants will make two utilitarian stoneware pieces, such as plates and bowls, by applying various modelling techniques including pinching, churros and ironing. The pieces will then be decorated with coloured slips and they will spend a few days drying before undergoing the first firing. The stoneware pieces will be enamelled and undergo a final firing. After approximately 15 days the participants will be notified that the pieces can be collected. The price includes materials, tools, enamels and two firings. The class runs on Fridays from 10:30 to 13:00 and Saturdays from 11:00 to 13:30.
