Ceramics workshop in Madrid

with Heon Suk Hong

Ceramics for all the family

Aimed at families, this introductory workshop seeks to offer a brief introduction to the processes that a ceramist must face daily. The artisan shows her equipment and materials and teaches guests how to use them. Each participant is invited to make their own design on paper which can then be realised in clay. Participants may choose a previously fired piece (one per person) and decorate it with ceramic pencils – or other types of pigments applied with a brush or stamps (that they can make themselves). The workshop seeks to create a pleasant atmosphere where all the members of the family can share an experience while learning a little more about the world of ceramics and crafts. This workshop is suitable for children. Materials are included in the price.
