Porcelain throwing workshop in Florence

Porcelain crafting

Florence, Italy

Dutch artist and ceramicist Jacqueline Harberink's work is defined by the use of difficult techniques such as the laborious 14th-century Chinese rice grain technique and the shellac technique. Throwing is one of the fundamental yet important basic techniques of making ceramics. During this two-day private workshop, Jacqueline will share her skills and tips on mastering the technique, shaping porcelain into a minimalistic yet tactile object. The price includes porcelain clay, firing, and keeping the pieces you make during the workshop. No experience is required. Drinks and lunch are served along the way.
