Tour a porcelain factory near Paris

Since 1740, the Sèvres porcelain factory has never ceased to create new forms and improve its repertoire, guaranteeing the preservation of manual skills and specialised knowledge, as well as serving as a beacon of technical innovation in porcelain creation. A guided tour of the factory takes visitors through this unique living laboratory where 120 on-site ceramicists master around 30 specialised trades. Individual visits: guided tour of the factory only (2 workshops), every third Thursday of the month at 2pm, 18 euros; guided tour of the National Ceramics Museum and the Sèvres factory (1 workshop), every fourth Thursday of the month at 2pm, 18 euros (entrance fee included).
