Experience the art of gilding in a group workshop in Paris

Atelier Thiery invites curious visitors for an introduction course to the delicate art of gilding. Offered alongside their immersive guided tour, this workshop includes a practical initiation supervised by an artisan from the atelier. Participants are guided though three key stages of the traditional gilding process. They begin with surface preparation, learning about the base layers and their application. Next, they explore the different shades of gold leaf and how to apply it with care and precision. Finally, participants experiment with finishing techniques.
