Visit-a-porcelain-studio-in-Leipzig

with Claudia Biehne

Delve into a world of porcelain

The studio-gallery of Claudia Biehne and her partner Stefan Passig is located in what was once the largest cotton spinning mill in continental Europe. There are about 100 artists and 12 galleries on the site. On a visit to Claudia's workshop you can view her small gallery and the workroom, which resembles a Wunderkammer. Many visitors ask again and again if everything is really made from porcelain... and indeed, it is! Claudia and Stefan will patiently answer your questions, and you can buy pieces to take away immediately or have them sent to you. The visit to the porcelain workshop can be combined with a guided tour of the cotton mill site. These are always offered on Fridays and Saturdays and outside these times upon registration (price on request).
