ColleVilca is a celebrated artistic glassware factory, born from the union of Colle and Vilca companies. The two manufacturers were known for the artisanal processing of the Colle Val d'Elsa crystal, considered to be one of the best in the world. Here, in a village nestled in the Chianti hills, between Siena and San Gimignano, the master glassmakers have been creating art objects and furnishings since 1960. The tradition has been handed down through generations, dating back 800 years to a time when 95% of all Italian crystal was made here.
The stages of crystal processing – blowing, modelling and finishing – have remained unchanged. The result is a crystal quality that is unique in its sound performance, brilliance and transparency. The creative collaboration between excellent master craftspeople and distinguished artists and designers gives life to original collections, ranging from everyday objects to artworks of true artistic craftsmanship.
