American artist Bruce Foster creates pop-up cards and movable books. Through careful scoring, cutting, folding and assembly, individual paper components become mechanisms that unfold and rise from the page. During the live demonstration at Homo Faber 2026, Bruce will unveil the step-by-step process behind pop-up making. Working across different formats, from cards and books to larger creations, he will offer a behind-the-scenes view of how precisely engineered paper elements come together to create movement and three-dimensional form.
