Personal course on biomorphic sculpture in stone

Adrien Canitrot invites you on a five-day theoretical and practical workshop in the Andes. During the first day you will learn all about the main types of stone, such as marble, granite and basalt. There will also be a course on traditional percussions tools, modern electric, pneumatic and diamond tools. From the second to the fourth day, you will be introduced through a hands-on experience, to carve, cut, rough and design a biomorphic sculpture. On the fifth day, you will mainly learn about polishing and finishing the piece. Depending on your level, you might be able to apply a matte polished finish to your object before taking it back home. In total the course is 30 hours of tuition spread over five days.
