Adrien Canitrot invites you on a group workshop on stone carving. In this course, you will learn to recognise the main stone types such as marble, granite and basalt, as well as how to use traditional percussion tools, modern electric, pneumatic and diamond tools. There will also be an introduction on how to carve, cut, rough and design an object or sculpture from stone. Before leaving, you will be shown how to polish and finish a piece. Please note that this is a theoretical workshop, but if you wish to know more about the material, you will be able to carve hands-on.
