Discover traditional silversmithing techniques

The Marven workshop invites you to discover its history, which intertwines its roots with those of the Paduan Goldsmith School, the main avant-garde centre in Italy in the second half of the 20th century. Maestro Venicio and his son Enrico will guide you to discover the workshop's archive, which preserves jewellery and decorative objects with a high artisan and artistic content. Participants will be able to witness the entire creative process, starting from some technical notions on precious metals and the characteristics of gems, and then going through all the design and processing phases. From fusion, to texturing, up to polishing, it will be a unique opportunity to discover ancient manual techniques that preserve the traditional concept of authentic craftsmanship in the silversmith's craft.
