Make a pair of shoes in Florence

Learning how to handcraft a perfect masculine shoe in a traditional way takes a lot of patience and time: time to become familiar with tools, materials and techniques but also much more time to practice and repeat, again and again. The intensive 3-month course organized by German shoemaker Saskia Wittmer in a dedicated space next to her bottega in Florence is a great introduction to this craft and life in the workshop. With three hours of teaching each morning and three hours of practice in the afternoon, the course will enable each student to build his own shoe and to understand if they are passionate enough for this fascinating and challenging craft.
