Embroidering wearable fantasies

Lithuanian artist Rasa Vilčinskaitė creates fantastical wearable sculptures and headpieces through bead embroidery and mixed-media textile techniques. During the live demonstration at Homo Faber 2026, Rasa will transform second-hand textiles, beads and wire through hand embroidery, crochet, wirework and layering, into intricate three-dimensional forms that can be worn on the body.
