This sculpture by Digua Zhao was created using the liaoqi lampworking technique. Pigmented soft glass was melted and hand shaped into lifelike flowers, which were assembled with silk-wrapped wire into a potted arrangement. Transforming an evergreen from the artist's hometown into an enduring companion, the piece reflects the resilience and beauty of life through the rhythms of nature.
