Fortuna Urn

This urn by Beth Katleman was slip cast and hand built from porcelain, with wire used to support its intricate sculptural elements. Assembling a line-up of unexpected figures, from a skull hidden among pearls to a frog catching a fly and a masked girl walking her snail, the surreal composition evokes the decadence and temptation of Venice.
