Exhibited in A ROOTED ASCENT

Willow

These baskets by Lewis Prosser were woven from willow and shaped into subtly distorted forms. Balancing inherited craft knowledge with improvisation and playfulness, the works reimagine basketry as a vehicle for performance, storytelling and ritual.
