Wave of light

This sculpture by Junpei Hayashi was created from dyed bamboo strips, layered in a rotating spiral with precise gradations of colour to evoke shifting movement. Inspired by the ever-changing twilight sky, the piece captures fleeting atmospheric transformations. The continuous flow of lines expresses the dynamic interplay of wind, clouds and light.
