Revealed Emptiness

This wooden sculpture is created through steam bending, which maximises the plasticity of wood, and the process of burning that deconstructs the material. The work constructs a fleeting moment of asymmetry. Built through intuitive bodily gestures without drawings, the organic silhouette rejects artificial completeness and instead pursues the idea of form as process.
