The Day of Bending and Burning Wood, Third Story
This piece is inspired by the asymmetrical beauty of traditional Korean earthenware. The walls of the vessel are built by bending wood through steam bending, while the surface was burned to inscribe traces of time. The ruptures and cracks that unexpectedly appeared along the rim and sides through heat embrace the uncontrolled movements of nature.
