The Day of Bending and Burning Wood, Fourth Story
In this piece, asymmetrical lines break free from restraint, sweeping through space and revealing infinite expansiveness. Built over time by following only the grain of the wood without drawings, the accumulated layers rise into dramatic curves at the upper section, reaching a climax of asymmetrical form. The blackened carbonised surface absorbs light and radiates presence, while the rough texture unique to burned wood preserves traces of living energy.
