This mottled blue and green stoneware piece represents a bell pepper that has been torn open. It is a solid sculpture fired first in an anagama wood kiln and then glazed in a copper-rich glaze and fired in an electric kiln. The natural ash deposit and the Oribe glaze combine to create a new palette of colour and texture.
