Ferrosae

This folding screen is the result of a collaboration between upcycling atelier AlgrantiLAB, decorative painting trio MoloLAB and design studio Gouache. It was made from curved plywood, clad in reclaimed iron. A rose was painted in mineral pigments over the metal’s natural oxidation. Inspired by 1920s furniture and reinterpreted through contemporary craft, this piece explores the poetic tension between strength and delicacy, at once austere and blooming.
