In Bloom

Made from salvaged ceramic components and purpose-made porcelain elements, this sculpture is inspired by shipwrecked ceramics found on the ocean floor. Broken ceramics, usually considered as waste material, are repurposed into a sculptural assemblage with mother-of-pearl lustre and 24 carat gold foil.
