Joaquín Gilabert López created this ornamental piece using mixed techniques to represent a flower. He shaped a pistil and long, coloured stamen from cactus spines, inserting both into the body of the flower crafted from esparto, the fibrous grass traditionally used in Spanish basketry and weaving.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
