This sculptural vessel is made using marbled stoneware clay. The object’s organic, bulging form spirals upwards from a narrow base. The vessel is large-scale and has a textured, patterned surface achieved using collage-like press-moulded and slab-building techniques. Glazing and multiple oxidation firing processes give it a white, dark and light brown, grey and cream colour.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
