This sculpture is made from marbled stoneware clay. The object’s organic, bulging form spirals outwards from a narrow base. It has a textured, patterned surface that was achieved using collage-like press-moulded and slab-building techniques. Glazing and multiple oxidation firing processes give it a variegated finish.
