LOT #220 folded organic form

This large-scale sculptural vessel is made using marbled stoneware clay, organically spiralling upwards from a narrow base. Its textured, patterned surface is achieved using collage-like press-moulded and slab-building techniques. Glazing and multiple oxidation firing processes give it a variegated finish.
