Crocodile (Envy)

This is a crocodile glove puppet hand carved in lime wood with hand sewn fabrics. It is one of seven puppets representing the seven deadly sins, honouring the traditional British puppet institution Punch and Judy. Envy here is seen as a point of pride, with this usually deadly creature presented instead with coyness and grace.
