Rodomonte
This wooden Sicilian puppet represents a character of the Carolingian cycle: a pagan paladin present in the Orlando Innamorato (1483) written by Matteo Maria Boiardo and in the Orlando Furioso (1516) from Ludovico Ariosto. Rodomonte wears a green velvet tunic and red trousers under his armor made of embossed nickel silver and copper. Navy-blue ostrich feathers complement his helmet.
