Anemone vase

This is a matte piece in Murano glass, with a light grey base and a bright orange top. The twisted shape is a great example of the Panizzi trio's work. Once the simple shape was created in the furnace, Mauro, Franco and Jacopo work to re-shape it and create the lines with the grinding technique. Many steps are required to create the texture, transparency and tactility of this piece.
