Dark blue hydrangeas and brimstone butterflies plate

This deep plate, made of cream-coloured stoneware, was crafted using the slab technique. Inspired by lush hydrangeas, the dark blue floral design was painted freehand with under-glazes. The transparent glaze adds shine and depth, contrasting the delicate painting with the heavy plate.
