With the aim of bringing the outdoors inside, Johanna has glazed these tiles to look like the wood of Nordic trees. The tiles start out as a sketch and then clay prototypes are created. Next, Johanna makes the tiles in plaster moulds, to save time. The tiles can take up to two weeks to dry.
