Tall stoneware bottle

This tall green hued stoneware bottle was shaped on a potter's wheel and given its final brittle surface texture by applying intense heat with a small gas burner before firing it. The final shaped bottle was fired at 1200°C with Zinc and barium glazes coloured with copper oxide, giving the sculpture its green hue.
