This white stoneware bottle-shaped sculpture was hand turned on a potter's wheel. A small gas burner was used to apply heat to the surface of the turned form, giving it its final torn texture. The sculpture was finally fired at 1200°C with a barium glaze coloured with copper oxide, giving it the final green hues.
