This one-off ceramic stoneware vase is entirely hand built using a variety of techniques, such as press molding, coiling and slab building. Its cylindrical shape is crowned with a large outwardly rim that gives a sense of airiness and elasticity, and the walls have been decorated with a rhythmic distribution of three-dimensional shapes, in niches. Two different glazes have been carefully poured in succession to leave very distinctive trails of glazes on the surface, as if the various hues of blue were cascading down its body, accentuating its elongated shape.
