Voglia di leggerezza

This reversible piece with hidden hems is patterned with alliums. It is made in Batik on silk, with canting, brushes and hot wax. The various shades of burnt-earth and orange with a pale yellow background and crackle effect on the back are obtained through natural immersion dyes using reseda (weld), turmeric roots, madder roots and camping wood (logwood).
