Effetto zebrato

This hand-hemmed square scarf is made in Batik on silk with canting, brushes and hot wax. The various shades of grey, and the blue and green background are obtained through natural immersion dyes using persicaria tinctoria, reseda (weld), indigo and camping wood (logwood).
