Seated woman with a guitar

This loose, soft tunic with two side slits is made with English stitching and handmade hems. The unique piece is handcrafted in Batik on silk with canting, brushes and hot wax. The various shades of white, blue and bright pink a are obtained through natural immersion dyes using avocado stones, reseda (weld), acacia, turmeric roots, cochineal, indigo and camping wood (logwood).
