Silversmithing tuition in Glasgow

Karen Westland, a silversmith who uses recycled, Fairtrade and Fairmined precious metals, working with a variety of techniques such as scoring and folding, engraving, hot and cold connections, general hand fabrication techniques and CAD, offers flexible one-to-one or small group tuition. Students will learn how to create a variety of metal projects, from box making to wedding rings to inventive and more personal projects. Students will be supported through their project using any appropriate skills and techniques. Details of time frames and ideas for personal projects will be discussed on a one-to-one basis.
