The masterclass organised at Heinen Delfts Blauw's workshop can provide admirers of this exceptional Dutch craft with an intensive yet fruitful learning experience. After a guided tour, you will learn the basics, from the materials to the painting craft, in a single day. A master painter will guide you through the necessary techniques of capturing the essence of Delfts Blauw. Then you can paint your own design, or one of the house's signature patterns, on a plate or vase, which will be glazed and fired in the factory. Lunch is included, as are the materials needed for your creative endeavour. The masterclass takes place every first Saturday of the month from 10am to 4pm and must be booked in advance. It is open to all levels and participants must be older than 13 years.
