This course aims to teach various lacemaking techniques including setting up, the scroll, and leaf decorations. The techniques that Yvonne covers can be found in her latest book, techniques assimilated with the Floral Bedfordshire technique and Withof. Variations within the techniques are taught too, to increase the range and possibilities that lacemaking brings. Particpants are given the chance to make a decoration such as a lapel pin or brooch and to decide how many course days they wish to follow. The course takes place one day a month, as the rest of the time is needed to carry out homework.
